What started as a small tailoring business has grown over the years to serve customers across the Boston area. Gregory Chobanian and his in-house tailors bring more than 40 years of experience to every piece that comes through the door, and the goal has never changed: work that is cut and finished to fit.
Perfect fitting clothes are our number one priority. Gregory works with finely honed skills and good materials, so a garment does not just come back altered, it comes back hanging the way it should.
Suits, shirts and dresses only flatter when they fit properly, and that has been the point of the shop since 1978. Walk in any day the shop is open, no appointment needed, or call (617) 482-1111 first, and Gregory's in-house tailors will make it possible.
How he works
Pins, chalk, and the same hands at pickup
Every job starts the same way: pinned on you, marked in chalk, checked again before it leaves the shop. Gregory works the fitting himself, at the same machines and thread racks you see here, and it is the same hands you will see again when you come back for pickup.
Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is needed for most alterations, though it helps to call (617) 482-1111 first so Gregory knows you are coming. Pickup and drop-off are arranged by appointment, so a finished garment moves in and out of the shop on a schedule that works for both of you.
