No appointment is needed for most alterations. Walk-ins are welcome, and it helps to call (617) 482-1111 first. Pickups and drop-offs are arranged by appointment.
Gregory offers same-day and next-day tailoring for most of his services. Bring the garment in the morning and it can usually be ready by the end of the day. Custom pieces and bridal work take more than one fitting.

Yes. Gregory takes orders for custom bridal, entourage and formal event dresses, and alters and repairs them: hems, take-ins, zippers and linings. Book dress work early so there is time for a second fitting.

Yes. In Gregory's own words: get your custom shirt of your dreams, he can do anything. That covers dress shirts for a special occasion, a business event, or one you'll wear at the office every day.
Fit starts at the shoulder. Once the shoulder seam sits where it should, hems and sleeves are the simple part to adjust. Gregory says plainly at the fitting what can and can't be done, before any work starts.
Bring the shoes and the shirt you plan to wear with the garment, so the length and fit are judged the way they'll actually be worn. For a dress, bring the undergarments and shoes you'll have on the day.
